We want you to test your water for Legionella and be happy with the services we provide. Our return policies enable us to provide you with affordable pricing and services so you can determine if your water is safe.
When you order DIY Legionella Sampling Kits from us you also purchase the included certified laboratory testing. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions you receive and return viable samples to us as instructed. All samples must be returned to us for testing no later than six (6) months after you purchased the DIY sampling kits. If you do not return the samples for testing within six months, we reserve the right to refuse to test your samples and cannot offer any refunds.
Due to the strict adherence to protocols on the services we provide and to ensure sample viability with proper shipping containers and sterile bottles, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for partially used orders. For example, if you order 20 kits and then decide to only sample 10 areas, you will not receive a refund or partial credit for returning 10 samples to be tested. All purchases include supplies, shipping, and laboratory testing for the specific number of kits you order.
If within 30 days of purchase you decide you no longer need to test your water for Legionella bacteria, you must contact us at contact@legionellatx.com to request a return. We will email you a standard FedEx shipping label to return the complete order in the unopened/unused package. Once we receive the package and inspect it to confirm all supplies are returned unused and in good condition, you will receive a refund less shipping and handling charges. Shipping and handling are specific to each order and cannot be determined before the return is processed. A refund will go back to the method of payment you used at the time of purchase. Refunds can take between 21 – 30 business days from the date the package is received by us.
Your order includes detailed instructions for collecting your water samples Monday through Wednesday and shipping samples overnight to our laboratory on the same day they are collected. Packages are only accepted at the laboratory Monday through Friday. It’s your responsibility to send the samples to arrive at the laboratory for processing within 72 hours of collection. Your order includes a pre-paid overnight FedEx shipping label. Your water samples must be shipped back to us via the FedEx overnight shipping we provide. It is your responsibility to ensure that you drop off the water samples before the cut-off time for overnight shipments. Your satisfaction is important to us. We understand that sometimes there are shipping mistakes or weather may delay shipments. If your shipment arrives late and we determine that a problem with the carrier caused the delay, we will cheerfully refund your money.
